Internet Explorer problem

My computer keeps popping up with "Internet Explorer has stopped working",and it's driving me mad. Can you help please?

I can't help, but I would suggest typing the error message into Google as there seem to be plenty of techie discussion boards where this is a topic.

So much depends on your version of Windows and other applications that you might be running - Skype for example.

Try typing in microsoft on the very top bar and see if that gets through. If it does as it should you can look up problems with Internet explorer.

I had problems once ot twice and I was told by a computer shop to completely reload Internet Explorer directly from the microsoft website.

This usually works.

That keeps happening on my computer too! It's so frustrating

This happens to me when I have loads of tabs open and I open another and I think it just overloads my laptop. Now I try to keep it to a max of 5 open at once.

When this happened to me with Internet Explorer 8, I went back to the website and reloaded Internet Explorer 7, and that sorted it out, but sadly they keep coming back with IE 8 which I gather has problems with some websites in this country.

You can only try to reload it
