I am in the process of advertising for some local carers on a casual basis for my partner, for walks outside and supervision/ company in our home.

Can anyone advise on insurance, what is needed , is it my responsibility.
thanks

Have you considered befrienders, people who sit and chat, take people out for walks but don't do personal care?

Many charities organise them although most have stopped because of coronavirus.

Thanks yes we have gone beyond that now as because my partner has developed a compulsion to stop strangers and tell jokes. He has frontal temporal dementia. He does not understand anything about the virus and social distancing .
