Fundraise for Alzheimer's Society - on your feet or with your wheels

Take part in a cycle challenge and raise valuable funds for Alzheimer's Society. Every mile you cycle and every pound you raise will support people affected by dementia.

Cycling from London to Paris is one of the great cycle experiences in Europe. Passing through the picturesque Kent countryside, we cross the Channel and continue through the small villages and medieval market towns of Northern France, passing the famous battlefields of the Somme and Agincourt.

In this film, fundraisers on an Alzheimer's Society Cycle Challenge tell us why they took part, and what it's like to cycle with the Society. Why not take part in a similar event, with our London to Paris Cycle Challenge?

If you're more comfortable on your feet than on your wheels, you could take part in the Stonehenge to Avebury Trek - raising money for Alzheimer's Society along the way.

Join us on this exciting challenge as you walk across 26 miles of historic grounds, starting at the world famous Stonehenge and finishing your trek at the iconic standing stones at Avebury.

Fancy doing something outrageous to raise money for Alzheimer's Society?

Ever thought about doing something outrageous and a little bit silly, all in the name of charity? How about shaving your head, or men, waxing those legs? Alzheimer's Society supporter Steve opted for the former...watch this video to see how he got on. :)

A Gift in Celebration - Rebecca and Leigh's Story

Watch Rebecca and Leigh discuss why they donated to Alzheimer's Society instead of giving traditional wedding favours.

Supporting Alzheimer's Society at your special occasion is a rewarding and thoughtful way to help us fund research and provide vital resources for people living with dementia and those who care for them.

You could ask friends and family to give a donation to Alzheimer's Society instead of buying a wedding present, or simply take a collection at the reception. You could also make a donation on behalf of your guests instead of giving them traditional wedding favours.

If you would like to make a donation to Alzheimer's Society instead of giving your wedding guests traditional favours, we can send you your choice from a selection of lapel badges, keyrings or table cards to let your guests know what you have chosen to do.

The suggested minimum donation for wedding favours is £1 per favour.

Contact our Customer Care Team on 0845 306 0898, email celebrate@alzheimers.org.uk or visit http://www.alzheimers.org.uk/celebration
