hi turmoil sorry i,ve only just caught up.sadly it seems obvious to you me and a lot of others that it is in your dad,s best interests not to have any more surgery. if your dad does forget can you just let the subject rest? or is it amatter of getting to the phone or the post before he does?

for what its worth quality in my opinion is worth more than quantity and there is apoint at which the line should be drawn. I wish you well and keep in touch

Hi, thanks rajahh and everyone. I am almost sure that the appointment will be made by ringing me, I think that is what was said. As soon as I know who he is seeing I will obtain an email address and just put my views accross, everyone who knows Dad seem to think they will not do the surgery. As the days have gone by I more convinced than ever Dad does not fully understand the whole picture and the risks involved.
