I get so angry.

i get so angry with the care home system in this country! so many dementia sufferers having to sell their homes to pay for their care. probably struggled at times to pay their mortgage but having a sense of pride knowing they have bought their own home only to have it taken off them to pay for care home. yet a criminal goes to prison is fed , educated, learnt a trade if wanted all for free and at the end of his sentence has a home to go to! it doesnt make sense to me .

and please dont tell the students - but also probably getting a university degree for free whilst serving their sentence

Should I tell my kids to go out and commit crime so they get free board and lodging plus an education.

I'm no expert but there is away people can protect there house/assets. However it's a bit late for anyone who is now ill.
