As a student I went to a very enjoyable live concert by guitarist Rory Gallagher. My musical tastes then developed in other ways and it is only recently, 40+ years on, that I have started to listen to his music again. His song I Fall Apart is part tender and poignant love song and part full on blues rock. Some of the words seem to carry special resonance at this time when I am still unable to visit my wife:
"I'm only living for the hour
That I see your face
When that happens, I don't
Want to be no other place
Till the end of time
You'll be on my mind"
It is worth a listen.
