    Morning

Jaff BIG HUGS too you & am sorry about your Brother's Inquest :( being held up not good for you Hope it gets started very soon

Do you think you are emotionally drained ? :( E G having a lot too cope with both Parent's etc on your own & it sounds like too me you do not have any Care Support for YOU ? Every carer needs support for a proper talk & or a shoulder too cry on & can understand why you are still upset :( Think it is normal in your circumstances Jaff

Take care . thinking of you today & hope tomorrow is a better day for you

    Love & Hugs

Good luck Jaff with the Phone Call and hope it helps. :). ( did you read my first Post ? Before the Phone numbers etc ? Hope you did)

Sorry it is getting late so do not have time too reply probably too your. Post. How ever am a bit  and cross your poor Dad was only given half a Cup of Soup. ! ! Awful. ! ~ Why I telling you this is I am a qualified. Kitchen Assit in a. N Home for Residents who live with Dementia. & one of my important jobs is too serve the. Tea. And had I only served half a cup of Soup would have been told off by the Head Chef ! As quite a few of the Residents needed too gain weight etc. So if I was in your position Jaff I would ask Senior. Staff at the N H why your Dad was only given half a Cup of. Soup. Every Resident should be allowed proper portions etc ( unless there is a good medical reason etc why they are not plus it should be In. Their Care Plan ). Good luck !

Pleased your Mum has new. Care package etc starting soon Good luck with that. Hope it goes okay

    Take care

    Hugs.

    Hi Jaff

Jaff, your brother will be extremely pleased and proud of what you have been doing and continue to do under very difficult and trying circumstances.

Re reading your story, I really am inspired by you and what you do on a daily basis for your parents.

I do feel though Jaff that you need to get some Carers support ASAP for yourself.
This may have been asked previously, but have you had a Carers Assessment?
I know you have a lot to do every day for your Mum & Dad, but if you haven't had one, you really should make the time to get an appointment for an assessment, especially now your Mum is back home.

There are plenty of groups/organisations out there that can help you with all that you have to face on a daily basis, you do not have to do this on your own. Is there an Admiral Nurse in your area?

I hope you continue to get some rest and recharge your mental and physical batteries. Are you eating properly? You must do, you surely need the energy Jaff.

Good luck and a BIG hug is heading your way.

I hope you have my banana.. he says..... lol they don't feed me here........yes they do it just dad. Does not like this pureed food........ I can not believe the turn around this week in him. Watching t. V.... and comments what he can see..... as dad deaf.. he was torpedoed in the war.... and only has one ear. That works.
.. again he asks about my brother. How is he. When can I see him...
Originally my brother went in to sort out his fingers. I tell dad that my brother. At home and that he had to resting after the op.......... help......
What esle can I say....... then i very quickly change the subject....... with a great big lump in my throat.... trying not to cry in front of him....
. He was in pain today so went to see nurse... to find out he would not take the pain killers.... tablet form...... so I say please try liquid.... that what they did at the hospital.......... I am going now and try to have some sleep now... if I can..... thanks everyone for your texts...

Yay! High five over the toilet seat!!

Mum has swollen legs too - Im told its because of her heart not working very well. It was recommended that she has her feet lifted up higher on a footstool and if I can persuade her to do this it does help.
