My husband has advanced Alzheimer's and is in a nursing home which is not allowing visitors. Previously I was visiting him most days. His eyes light up when he sees me as although he may not know who I am , he knows he loves me. I am worried that by the time I can see him again, if he survives this, this connection may be lost. We have had 2 face time calls but he is unable to concentrate or focus on the screen. His ability to converse has long since gone. It is our 52 wedding anniversary on Sunday. I married him at 17. I know there is nothing anyone can do but I just needed to say it. I am currently getting over the virus myself. Best wishes to all of you and hope you stay well.
