Hi @vannesser

Any sort of non-lumpy soup (not just tomato) will be fine as will things like yoghurt, scrambled egg, mashed potato, and other mashed/pureed food.

I would ask your GP to refer him to the SALT (Speech And Language Therapist) team as they are the specialists in all things to do with swallowing as well as speech - they will be able to advise you better on what sort of food to give him. They may also get something to thicken his drinks to make them easier to swallow, too.

Oh Vannesser, are you sure you can cope? Isn't it time for a care home?

You've been caring for so long and things are just going from bad to worse. You must be exhausted. I hope you let his carers do all the heavy stuff.
