FINALLY we got Jean a new fire fitted today - we went for electric in the end (more for piece of mind on our part than anything else). We delivered it this morning.

Did get a shock when we arrived and there was an ambulance outside the house though! Turns out the old guy across the road had just died. Jean was aggitated and a bit disorientated because of it - not sure how much of it she understood though.

Apparently she is going for a visit to the dementia day care centre tomorrow so fingers crossed she likes it and wants to go there for a weeks 'holiday' soon - give her sisters a break.

Except the neighbour dying I think today was pretty good. :)

Dear Gremlin, glad that there seems to be a faint light at the end of the tunnel.

Will be thinking of you tomorrow, fingers crossed. Love
