I was researching information about care homes and I came across this section of the CSCI website. I have bookmarked it, hopefully I'll never need it, but you never know...

Just to add, the alzheimers society have a good factsheet which also outlines what to do if things go wrong with care:

I've also found that all care homes have a complaint procedure which is normally on a notice board in the home. Think this is obligitory, if not it should be.
