Hi, My father has Alzheimer's - not too bad at present but associated with some night time incontinence. My mother and father would really like to take a holiday and I wonder if anyone has any recommendations of a hotel (they live in Sussex) that would welcome them as guests? Of course they would take mattress protectors etc.

The only thing I can think of is to find a hotel your parents like and ring them to see if they would welcome your father. If they wanted to travel, The Imperial in Great Yarmouth were well aware of my father's problems and were always absolutely fantastic. I hope someone else will have some more ideas.

    Take care

    Hello Mark.

Try a Google on Vitalise, they specialise in helping with such holidays and the AZ Soc sponsor some of the weeks. I've booked for two seperate weeks as breaks/respite.

    Best wishes,
