Hi,

I am looking for a service that provides holidays to carers whilst their partners are in respite. I have recently booked to go away, but I find that I am quite lonely and would like to share the experience with like-minded people who are in a similar situation to me.

If anyone knows of an organisation/company that provides coach trips for carers (without their partners) it would be great to hear from you!

I am not sure if their are any holidays for carers without their carees , others here may know

However some of us do meet up from time to time , some are just for a meal others are for a couple of days you'd be most welcome to join us
You can find our meet ups by clicking on groups along the blue line that says forum home

I do not know of any special service providing holidays for carers. However there are several holiday companies that specialise in 'singles' and I understand these are exceptionally good. Often those participating have had problems of caring or loss.

When folk are anxious to meet up we do like to stress the importance of keeping safe online and recommend you read this:

As Lin has suggested you look could look at this Group which discusses meet ups and retreats.

I hope that helps.
