Check out Vitalise (just rebranded to Revitalise), they have three centres in England (no Scotland I am afraid) and three Alzheimer's weeks a year, the next one is coming up end of March.

Hi Beate,
I see Vitalise have rebranded to Revitalise but can you tell me if they have improved the help they give to carers to allow them more free time.

do you want a holiday that is geared up for the disability or do you want to have a break away from the elephant in the corner of the room,i know i do,a grasp at normality,me and denise go b*****s,stay in a accessable apartment and the rest of the site is wheelchair friendly too,a lot of other holiday camps are wheelchair friendly too and have adapted caravans.

You might find these useful -

I have found that hotel chains like Premier Inn have good disabled access rooms. You would find these hotels in mostbScottish cities if it's a city break you would prefer. I would advise to ask for a wet room if they have one available as we've sometimes had one with the shower over the bath which was of no use to us.
