Hospital can't operate on him so only option is chemotherapy they don't know how advance the cancer is my sister had chemo and it gave her a few extra weeks they going to send dad home next week he 74 and thinks chemotherapy won't benefit him going to be a tough decision

Dad worried he won't get his medication back when he discharged but told him he will I can't get tommorow off as 2 others are on holiday he worried about being on his own when he comes home

@jelba You mentioned that the hospital said that your dad needs 24hr care now. Was this discussed at the MDT meeting and has the social worker put extra carers in place? You've got a lot on your plate at the moment and although hospitals seem to want to discharge people as quickly as possible they shouldn't discharge your dad until all the necessary care arrangements have been put in place.
