He's Gone

He's at peace.

On Saint Georges day Ron took his last journey across the forest.

The verges were bathed in yellow broom.

The church was full.

The day was sunny.

I was not too sad.

He had been released from his baby state.

Not talking, being changed ,being fed.

It was quick.

Pnuemonia took hold.

I requested no intervention.

The nursing home staff were discreet.

The family were there .

We lit candles.

Yes he is at peace and so am I.
