My husband died this morning in his care home.
He hadn't been well all week but did not shown any symptoms of Covid-19.
I asked the Manager if he didn't have the virus could he die at the home in his room with people he knew and that is what happened. He died before the ambulance arrived.
He's free now of this awful illness that took him from someone who was larger than life to the shell of the person he was.
I miss him.
So very sorry for your loss,

I feel for you, but am glad that there's a positive, in that you and he were able to experience this in a way that was part of normal life only a short time ago. So good that the manager of his home enabled this.

So sorry for your loss - take care of yourself and take time - an odd thing to say in this time of self isolation but when I had a bereavement I wanted to be alone and take my time - even if it was to cry.

I feel so sorry for you, hold on to the fact he was in a room and with familiar people.
Be gentle with yourself. X

Sorry for your loss @Unhappy15. He'll be in a better place now, like you say, free from this cruel disease. Take care of yourself and remember happier times. xxx
