Hi Everyone

Just heard he can come home later today.:)

Scan clear but they found an underlying water infection so on antibiotics for that.

Thank you all for the much needed support.

Love and thanks.

Good news Linda! Those urinary tract infections can have quite dreadful effects.

Hi Linda

Great news.
Mum often has UTIs and it knocks her for six.
Unfortunately in the elderly, (not suggesting your hubby's elderly) it can happen that no symptoms are displayed.
Now GP has put Mum on a prophalatic (sp)

Well he's home and had a good nights sleep so did I!:)

He has no recollection whatsoever of his collapse which I suppose is a good thing.

Thanks again.

Linda.

PS the missing toothbrush etc appeared back in his toilet bag;)

Good news Linda,
When my husband felt dizzy while out for a walk, and fell and broke his arm, he was found to have a UTI. He had no symptoms of anything being wrong and I`d never heard of it before.
I`m so pleased it was nothing worse.
Take care
