help with stimulation

I have been trying to find someone to come on and chat to my wife now and again.
We already have crossroads twice a week to give me a break but thats all.
I tried Age Uk Buddy scheme but they do not do it for dementia sufferers.
I thought about Dementia Friends but I do not know what they do or how to find one.
Can any one help me?

That's weird - Age UK provide sitting service for my OH with dementia. Dementia Friends don't come to your house to help, it's just a lofty title to say someone is dementia aware. Are there any lunch clubs in your area, any choirs, Singing for the Brain, or art groups etc? What about a day care centre?
