I care full time on my own for Mum aged 92 who has mixed dementia. Prior to the current situation we went out daily which mum looked forward to. Now she paces around the house, gets dressed ready to go out but this behaviour increases the more I try to change tack with her to do something to distract her. I have walked her up and down our cul de sac road but that doesn't pacify her.. probably as there cant be any social interaction. Thanks for any help

Hello @Lindysport and welcome to DTP
these are very difficult times and as you rightly comment distraction is the best way forward.
Have you got an accessible park where perhaps you could go for a short walk?
afternoon tea out in the garden well when the sun return.
I hope now you have found the forum you will continue to post it is a friendly and supportive place to exchange ideas.
