my father in law is 63 and is in the second - third stages of alzheimers and my husband is only 38 and is showing signs of this terrible illness.

Hiya StokeyKerry,
Welcome to TP. You are obviously very worried. When you say that your husband is showing signs - what is it that you are aware of? Only a very small proportion of dementia is hereditary; similar symptoms can be caused by depression and stress. Do you want to share a little of what you are worrying about?
