My Wife and I are in the process of moving to Snowdonia from West Sussex so that we can help and spend time with My Father in Law who has Alzheimer’s. He seems pretty lucid on the phone but I guess things will become clearer when we move up, hopefully by May. Just thought I’d say hi and I hope you are all bearing up. All the best - Phil

Hi @PhilIplawrence welcome to this forum.

I hope you will find lots of the posts helpful.

I must confess that when I first joined I found it quite upsetting reading about the awful situations people are grappling with, and I used to limit my reading as I became so scared of what I too would face. Now I am on here every day!

This is where you will find solace as so many lovely people will know what you are feeling having 'been there' themselves.

It is a much better idea for you to move near your father in law than for you to move your father in law nearer to you.
