Hearing aid advice for my mum in law

My mum in law has dementia and lives in a care home. She is vey deaf and needs to wear hearing aids. The problem is she keeps on removing the aids, possibly hiding them and they get lost or worse still go in the bin. I strongly believe that she could have a better quality of life if she was able to hear and engage with people around her. Does anyone out there have any have any tips or solutions so that she doesn't remove them and hide them? Anything at all would be much appreciated. Thank you

Have you spoken to the hearing department (forget what they're called now when I got them for Mum) who gave her the aids to see if they have any ideas?
