Happy Fathers Day Dad

Oh it has been hard today - my first Father's Day without my beloved daddy around to make a fuss of.
We scattered his ashes in his favourite spot this morning and said some prayers for him. I miss him so very much - and I can't see any light at the end of the tunnel just now.

Here's my Dad, born in Balham in 1920 to a maid, father a college student who soon left; he was taken in and raised by the Trim Family, 9 brothers and sisters. He lied to get into the army and served in British Intelligence in WWII. Long and varied life. He died on Father's Day 2007.

My Dad too died on Father's day Celia - it makes the day even sadder doesn't it.
