    In the members profile page - what does the box for Group Memberships mean please?

    Seems no one is a member of any these !!!

    I've searched everywhere for this setting, cant find it.
    What steps did you take to locate this setting and I'll try and find out more.

    Select your name from one of your postings.

    That will show your profile.

    At the bottom right, if you scroll, is Group Memberships.

    I have no idea either what it is about!

    Hi Bruce/Chris,

    and a happy sunday to you. 'Groups' seems to be an 'add on' feature to vBulletin (the board software that is used by talking point).

    It allows administrators to set up a hierarchical forum with different levels of groups all with interlinked permissions. May be useful in the MOD or CIA but not much use the talking point which is why the feature is probably unused. That's my take on it anyway. You can find out more at the vbulletin forum......

    I did ask the question when the new site was first available.
    Nada didn't know but was to find out what were public groups.
