Just thought I would share some good news with the people who were kind enough to support me last week when i was really depressed about Terry,s AD

The great news is that terry was prescribed Aricept and the difference has been frantastic,He is so much happier and sharper
not sure how long this lasts but so far so good!!!

Wonderful news Jan. I too hope it lasts.

If it`s any reassurance, when my husband was prescribed Aricept it had adverse effects immediately, within a day or two. So it does seem to work quickly. In your husband`s case, for the better.

John was prescribed Reminyl, but like Terry, the effect was instant -- and lasted for six years!

So think positive! There are no guarantees with these drugs, but when they work, they're brilliant.

That is really great news. My Peter was put on Aricept and I noticed a difference in him quite quickly.
