My little mum died on Monday evening. After all the agitation she became very peaceful. My daughter had spent the evening with her and had just got home when the hospital called her back but by the time she got there mum had gone. I was in London at the Alzheimer's parliamentary day talking to MPs about post diagnosis support and of course end of life care. Some were wonderful some appalling but I know my mum would have wanted me to be there instead of falling apart.
