Anyone who has the stamina and community spirit to get through the years of training needed to qualify as a Doctor of Medicine and then put themselves immediately on the front line helping out now, has my admiration

To all those new doctors

Stay well

THANK YOU

The grand daughter of one of the carer support workers at our sheltered housing has just graduated and started work locally. The junior doctors always worked harder than everyone anyway, so I'll join that vote of thanks.

One of my daughter's cycling friends is in this cohort, she got an email to tell her she had graduated and would be starting work soon in mid March.

As some have mentioned medicine is a hard choice anyway, I considered it and veered away as did dau, good luck to them all.

A thank you from me too. When this is all over hopefully we will continue to appreciate the work these very special people we have mentioned do, and no longer take them being there for granted. In saving lives they are risking their own.
