Hello All,
Just wanted to say that Dad had a better weekend than of late and it is so nice to see the old dad, even if it's only for a little time. Mum and Dad have some very good friends and they managed to go out for an early tea which I think they all thoroughly enjoyed, and then yesterday another couple who were having an 82nd family birthday party brought them some birthday cake and it meant the world to dad ! Just wanted to share a little bit of happiness.

What an uplifting Post, Rach. It`s so lovely to see a little spark return, even if it`s fleeting. It lets us know they are not lost to us completely. Hope you can enjoy it a bit longer. Sylvia x

I wish everyone would "pop in with a bit of cake", or ring up, or send a post card - it makes such a difference for people with AD to be remembered (even if they don't remember themselves!!) Glad your parents had a good day, Rach.
