getting worse quicker?

My mother has severe alzheimers. This year has been very fast, there's always something, more and more bad days. It seems shes moving through it faster or more stages quicker?

Its so hard not knowing how long more she has to suffer.rare to have a good day now it seems but you get the odd moment.

it's strange isn't it how the 'progression' goes, always surprising in some way so we're never quite sure how things stand and wondering how long ... disorientating at times
and then there are those brief moments which are a delight ... I remember a visit when I thought dad had been pretty much unawarevthat I was with him ... but as I left he roused, gave me a wave and a smile and said 'Take care', just as he always used to
so I'll pass that on to you and your mother 'Take care '
