Dementia Talking Point supports and thanks people who are fundraising for Alzheimer's Society in the UK.

You can find lots of useful info and tips for successful fundraising here:

Fundraising page on Alzheimer's Society website

Raising money online

Fundraisers for Alzheimer's Society are encouraged to use the JustGiving website, http://www.justgiving.com/alzheimerssoc, to raise funds online.

Supporters donating or pledging money through JustGiving can be assured that their money is going to help Alzheimer's Society in the UK.

Dementia Talking Point members are not encouraged to donate to Alzheimer's Society online via any other site.

Raising money offline

People wishing to fundraise for Alzheimer’s Society offline - e.g. via ticket sales for an event - are asked to state their connection to the Society (e.g. the local Alzheimer’s Society service or Fundraising contact with whom they have been liaising) in their post.

Charity Auctions

There will be restrictions on the types of goods that can be auctioned for charity, for Health & Safety reasons. For those people interested in fundraising for Alzheimer’s Society in this way, please contact the Dementia Talking Point Manager to seek advice before posting.

Fundraising for other causes

Posts raising funds for causes other than Alzheimer's Society in the UK may be removed. People wishing to fundraise for causes other than Alzheimer's Society should consult the Dementia Talking Point Manager before posting on Talking Point.

Again, many thanks to all those fundraising for Alzheimer's Society, for your time, effort and dedication to supporting our work. :)
