FTD and Motor Neurones Disease

My Dad has had a diagnosis of FTD for a couple of months but his deterioration has seemed extremely fast and then this week he has also been diagnosed as having Motor Neurones Disease too. Apparently this is quite rare and I can't really find anything on the internet about having them both? Does anyone have any information on this and what we can expect?
