Flu jab

My mum had her flu jab today from the GP for the care home where she now lives. Apparently she was very cooperative, which surprised them as she can refuse to take medication sometimes, just walking into to the medical room and chatting to the doctor about other jabs she’d had for tropical diseases when she used to go travelling abroad.
The doctor last saw mum a few months ago when she was a bit off colour with Covid, she was delighted to see the change in mum and enjoyed chatting to her for ages.
When the care home manager phoned me, I felt very proud, like I used to when I got a good news phone call from a teacher about my child!
