Mum has been in a nursing home for eight months so this is our first Christmas without her at home and boy does it feel strange.

We will be going to see mum tomorrow and I will look forward to that but it is still strange.

Your thoughts would be welcome.

Just wanted too reply as you had not had any & too offer my support ( tho it was not much ! )

Hello twinkle star . I am sure you will have a lovely day with your mum . It will be hard but you will spend good quality time with her , which is ideal . I look after my mum at home and tonight she has been up and down over 10 times , so I know her and I will be very tired tomorrow and won't appreciate the day fully . I know tomorrow won't be the same for you but you will create new memories and you will see your mum happy and well cared for, as I'm sure you will have chosen her a good care home . Best wishes to you and your mum and I hope you both have a great day together . Lou x
