Finding something useful to do

My wife is getting more and more agitated at not having anything to do, I’ve tried everything to find and suggest things for her but can’t seem to get her interested,
She’s only seems to want to pass her time with unfounded concerns about our finances,
She will sometimes occupy herself doing meaningless tasks,
Today I was busy inside and noticed a draft, on checking she was outside walking along the gutter of our road picking up leaves,
I would like any suggestions that may help.

Would something like tidying, cleaning and clearing out cupboards and drawers appeal or is that likely to cause chaos?

I've been to Hobbycraft and bought some Christmas card making equipment. She could make a few and then send them out closer to Christmas.
