Dear Talking Point,

I’m writing to ask for your help (again)!

I am attending an event run by the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust on 10 May which will discuss patients and patient representatives ideas on developing the ambulance service for the future.

I’m keen to take to the event the experiences that people with dementia and their carers have had with the ambulance service. If you have some time, I would be very grateful if you could provide feedback on some of the questions listed below as it will help me a great deal when I participate in the event on 9 May.

As a carer of a person with dementia, have you come into contact with the ambulance service?
Did the ambulance crew have a good understanding of dementia?
From your point of view, what are the main issues to be considered when designing the ambulance service for the future?
Any other issues you would like to raise?

Many thanks. Any questions, then please call me on 020 7 306 0606.

Best wishes

Vicki
