My wife has dementia with Lewy bodies, I have been her carer for four years. I have been reading through the threads on a number of aspects of this condition. There is no right or wrong way to deal with all the problems that one faces and one has to learn as we go along. But I have discovered through reading that the emotional and physical difficulties carers experience are not mine alone, that sharing the trials and tribulations can help.

Welcome to Dementia Talking Point @Gardner.

This is not a place any of us would choose to be but I think most of us are very glad we have found Dementia Talking Point. We share information, we can advise and support and pass on our knowledge. We are also more than happy to listen, there are times when we all feel overwhelmed by it and it’s always good to know we are never alone.
