my mum has her appointment on monday after the mental health nurse came to her hiuse she has refered her to the consultant . anyway she has to go for an ecg firsy why would that be does anyone know.

For instance, a slow sinus rhythm (heart rate) is a contra indication for Aricept, the acceptable rate can be affected by other non related medication.

The ECG will also provide a datum that can be referred to in the future if it is suspected that any medication is causing problems.
