Thank you for your help in listening and contributing. Dad hypersensitive to noise in new NH and noise from floor below was keeping him awake at night.
I bought some silicone ear plugs and they have helped. He needs help putting in and removing them and will forget so have now had it entered into care plan that carers help him night and morning.
Seems such a small thing, don't know why I didn't think of it myself but I suppose sometimes you get so that you can't see the wood for the trees.
Anyway so far so good, off to see nephrologist soon for review of renal failure. Good luck everyone out there fighting your own battles, I feel for you and support you on your journey.
