Every day seems to be visited by the Mr Hyde half of my Father's personality, and these visits appear to be getting longer.

The Dr Jekyll side looks as if he is trying to understand things, but the words come out garbled with no sense to them. The frustration then unleashes Mr Hyde again.

Each new day welcomes us to the kind of abuse that we would never tolerate from a total stranger.

We don't know what is facing us from now until Xmas.

All I can say is find some kind of support. Without support, I don't care how strong people think they are, you bounce back a little less each time your resolve is tested.

Find a carers association, contact the Alzheimer's Society or speak with your family doctor. Just do something.

Good luck everyone.
