> My apologies, I haven't posted queries often.

My mother has Alzheimer's and has been in a care home for nearly 3 years along with my father who has Parkinson's. As mum has started being more aggressive the home have applied ( is that the right term) for a DoL. I have no problem with this and think she should probably have had one a while ago. However, my question is does this make Continuing healthcare funding more likely? Does anyone have any experience of this and/or suggestions as to what I should next do if it is likely. Thank you

Afraid not. It's standard now for any care home resident without mental capacity to have this applied as this is the legal way of depriving someone of their liberty.
