Does the recent court case for Hilda Atkinson give hope for funding costs ?

I think this case is a little complicated as the lady had many nursing needs - please someone correct me if I'm wrong!

Mrs Atkinson – whose other ailments were Parkinson’s disease, angina, osteoporosis and deafness

The article is not clear, but I would assume that she qualified for continuing nursing care and she was wrongly denied this.

It is a battle, but great to see people win once in a while!

It does seem that this is not a precedent setting case, simply one where the PCT was shown not to have followed the guidance that is in place. Note that the family are going to have to do this again with another set of PCTs in Cornwall
