does anyone remember

Does anyone remeber a post by a retired nurse who had written about her work in care homes. She had complained if she saw something wrong . Her article was very much like a lot of things that were going on in my Mother's care home. I would like to read it again . I can't find it and can't remember the lady's name. Thankyou

Thanks margarita. I think it was the beginning of January. The lady had all the problems in a nursing home exact.She described how the residents were lined up outside the toilet not because they were needing but because it suited the staff.

I don't remember the thread but I did work in nursing homes in the late 80's/early 90's and remember all sorts of horrors..which should not still be happening..

If you have a problem with the NH have you discussed it with the care manager?

Am sure there are loads of people here on TP who can help you through this who have very up to date experience..
