Mums case went to panel on Tuesday for permanent placement in the NH. She's been in the NH which is coming up for month 5! I'm still paying her rent and utility bills. SW said she will tell me immediately the outcome but haven't heard a word. If I don't hear by the end of next week I am going to email the SW giving notice that if I don't hear the result by a certain date then I'm going ahead and clearing out her home. Seems a complete waste of money paying rent for a property she hasn't been in for almost five months. From her mental and medical condition seems extremely unlikely shell be coming home, but SS keep banging on that I'm not supposed to clear her flat until they say so.
Do I give a cut off date?
