Diagnosing dementia: A practical guide to assessment now available

The Publishing team are excited to launch our brand new booklet Diagnosing dementia: A practical guide to assessment (code 78DD).

It provides information for anyone who is worried about symptoms they are experiencing or have noticed in someone else. At what can be an anxious or frightening time, this booklet sets out clearly the process of talking to the GP, as well as possible tests, scan and assessments that can be involved. It provides reassurance and explanation for each stage with tips on what to expect how to prepare.

Members of the public can download this comprehensive and practical guide at alzheimers.org.uk/publications. To order a copy, they can call 0300 303 5933 or email orders@alzheimers.org.uk quoting code 78DD.
