We have been to the dentist today.
Peg had clean up ,nothing else wrong.
I have to have an extraction ,one tooth!!!!
Ain't life strange ?

I know Mum was dreading the day Dad had to see a dentist with his toothache. He'd been having lots of sweet things, which we hadn't been discouraging after he wouldn't eat much.

When I visited that afternoon he was sitting there as bright as ninepence after the offending tooth had been removed - no problem! Relief all round.

Great to hear about Peggy eating again Norm and good luck with the extraction!

My dear mum had loads of dentures so no real probs.
When I was a child my mum would take us all very regularly to the dentist. Made no difference to me as despite that I always had to have a filling!
Anyway, the dentist was from the north of England. He told us that there everyone (almost) had a 21st birthday present of all teeth taken out and dentures given as a replacement whether you needed them or not.
