Dementia in a nutshell, hoping to learn

I’m newish you the site and I’ve been running some things by you and I just wonder if you can help. I’m 48 years old so was quite surprised by my score and I’m waiting for my ct scan. None of my specialists have told me anything about dementia so I’ve been surfing the net but better than that please would some of you that are ok to do this but can you put dementia in a nutshell please to help me to get an idea

It's difficult to put dementia in a nutshell @ARP . There are so many different sorts, with so many different symptoms which vary from person to person. The guide in this link might be useful if you haven't seen it already but please don't scare yourself by reading everything about dementia and worrying that it will apply to you. Wait for your scan and see what the doctors say when you have the results.
