In principal yes!..but when part of staff are dementia aware or friendly..I think all shops and all staff should be dementia friendly. I've done several dementia friends sessions and if someone has a diagnosis but doesn't want to be identified as such..that person should get the same respect and understanding..regardless...
It's pro s and cons really...

It's great that shops are support people with dementia...but still they leave big black mats at the doors even after dementia awareness sessions....
It's a bit contradictory then!!!
