Is it true? One member from here claims it did not happen with her. I would like to know what others have to say about this.

I think that may be one possible effect. My mother has been on dementia drugs since 2001 and hasn't had any weight loss due to the drugs. The only time she really lost weight was when she went through a sleeping phase - she slept 12 - 16 hours a day and didn't eat much.
