    I know we don't always appreciate the tone of some of the DM coverage of AD/Dementia (but at least they DO acknowledge it as a problem!) but yesterday they really excelled. Double page account by Tony Robinson of his Mums story, very outspoken and no punches pulled. Also another article about the proposed withdrawal of Aricept "£2.50 per day Alzheimer's drug" by the NHS quango, National Institute of Clinical Excellence (pompous, inflated title!).

    Whilst frequently I do not agree with their politics or habit of sensationalising pet topics, I shall be writing to them to thank them.
